From Smart Growth Resource Library description:
Managing Wet Weather with Green Infrastructure, a publication from the U.S. EPA, describes an action strategy promoting the benefits of green infrastructure in mitigating overflows from combined and separate sewers and reducing runoff.
This Green Infrastructure Action Strategy also represents one of the key actions that EPA is undertaking to address projected impacts of climate change.
The EPA Office of Water has developed the draft National Water Program Strategy: Response to Climate Change, which will soon be released for public comment. Green Infrastructure is one strategy that communities can use to adapt water and wastewater management in the face of changing hydrologic cycles.
