On December 22, 2008, The Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) released a report on the the Eldorado Investigation to the Health & Human Services Commission. The investigation, which began April 3, 2008, was to determine if the abuse and neglect of children occurred at the Yearning for Zion (YFZ) Ranch in Eldorado, a settlement of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (FLDS).
